I have just upgraded to Windows 10 Version H21H1 but the system has become extremely slow. When I click on a program icon on my desktop, it takes quite a while for the program to open. And even web pages take a while to open and at times do not respond at all. What could be the problem or do I roll back to the previous version?

I think I might know what this problem is. Mainly, I'm experiencing it when running any of the web browsers, and I think it's the new News and Interests tab on the taskbar at the bottom constantly running in the background. If you right click on the taskbar, highlight "News and Interest" and then turn it off, you might see a significant improvement in response time. I did this, and it seems to have helped a lot.

I have the same problem. Browser is stuttering and there are freezes when opening new tabs, apps.
Update: Microsoft has fixed this issue. They released a windows update and it fixed it.
Make sure that you are on latest update.
I also have a performance issue, but I don't have the updates mentioned in this post to test the theory.
I'm having the same problems and it's seriously disrupting my business. I wish someone would come up with a lightweight operating system that does what it's supposed to do: work!
I was having the same issue but I uninstalled the previous update I had just done and everything works like it did before I updated the first time. Although, I had to stop using my Opera GX Browser because it continued to have this problem even though I cleared a lot of space to let it run.
