Microsoft account won't connect to Minecraft services on Minecraft: Java Edition Launcher

Whenever I open the Minecraft launcher signed in as my Microsoft account which is my only account it will show me a message that says: "Oh no! Something went wrong, and we couldn't connect to Minecraft Services" and the Play button is replaced with a Play offline button but once I click that to play offline, it will say I need to make a profile even though I have a profile and have been playing the game until this error occurred. But once I click to create a profile, it will sign me into the Minecraft website and bring me to my account profile screen where it will give me the message: "Something went wrong... press reload to try again." and once I click reload, nothing changes. this error happened on Friday, May 28th.

    Using the old launcher is better for now than the most recent one. I suggest doing the same if you have problems. Just download the launcher for windows 7/8

    not sure if theres any other fixes but i randomly downloaded and logged into the xbox console companion app and it worked fine, no clue what the correlation is with these two things but i hope itll at least help one other person

    I have the same problem now and not only that but when i go to the official minecraft.net page it says 404 Error Not Found, what can i do?

    I am having this same issue but my play button is replaced with, "play demo". I have deleted and reinstalled the launcher, I'm using the older version, and have migrated my account when they first started the shift. For me correctly, it has the "Something went wrong when connecting to the Minecraft services", and is telling me to log into my old account to play but I can't because it's saying that I already migrated to Microsoft making me unable to log into my Minecraft account. I can log in using my account everywhere else but Minecraft and it was just working 2 days ago. I'm at my wit's end.
