FWIW I've found the Xbox launcher to be a workaround. Win10/11 launcher is clearly a POS and the fact it's still a bug after years is pretty shocking TBH.

Whenever I open the Minecraft launcher signed in as my Microsoft account which is my only account it will show me a message that says: "Oh no! Something went wrong, and we couldn't connect to Minecraft Services" and the Play button is replaced with a Play offline button but once I click that to play offline, it will say I need to make a profile even though I have a profile and have been playing the game until this error occurred. But once I click to create a profile, it will sign me into the Minecraft website and bring me to my account profile screen where it will give me the message: "Something went wrong... press reload to try again." and once I click reload, nothing changes. this error happened on Friday, May 28th.

2022-06-07T17:29:52+00:00 Check your internet connection. Make sure that you are actually connected to the internet. Also if you bought Java and got bedrock free then after you start Minecraft for the first time on that device then you can play the version even if you are offline. If you bought bedrock and got Java free, then try signing out of the launcher and signing back in because with bedrock if you change a password to an account you have connected and are using then it for whatever reason doesn't have the password updated to be correct.

2022-06-07T18:09:16+00:00 I had this problem a month ago and it has a really easy solution. Instead of trying to play with the Windows 10/11 Minecraft Launcher, just install the Windows 7/8 Minecraft Launcher and you will be able to play.

I have also checked on another pc if the problem is my pc. It is not as the problem persists on the other pc as well.
My brother has also bought Minecraft starter pack and he gets the same problem, so it's not an issue with the account or the pc.
I have also checked the internet.
Please try and fix this as soon as possible as i really want to play Java edition but due to this error I cannot.
