Microsoft account won't connect to Minecraft services on Minecraft: Java Edition Launcher

Whenever I open the Minecraft launcher signed in as my Microsoft account which is my only account it will show me a message that says: "Oh no! Something went wrong, and we couldn't connect to Minecraft Services" and the Play button is replaced with a Play offline button but once I click that to play offline, it will say I need to make a profile even though I have a profile and have been playing the game until this error occurred. But once I click to create a profile, it will sign me into the Minecraft website and bring me to my account profile screen where it will give me the message: "Something went wrong... press reload to try again." and once I click reload, nothing changes. this error happened on Friday, May 28th.

    Same issue here since 2 days ago, I feel like I've done everything from repairing launcher to logging out and restarting pc to deleting the launcher and reinstalling, disabled firewalls and antiviruses, tried waiting and fixing internet problems perhaps. I've spent hours in general and still not been able to fix it. I'm on windows 8, never got windows 10, so I have/had the so called "old launcher" when this problem started and still, I'm pretty desperatly in need of a fix, I payed money for this game and i can't even log into my minecraft account? Seriously microsoft? I've watched videos and read articles, none have worked, sure I haven't tested every single method but I've kind of lost hope at this point, if you know how to fix this problem or have any tips, I'd very happily hear them.

    donwload the windows 7/8 version of the launcher from minecraft.net, worked for me, at least it doesn't say i don't own the game anymore... windows10 version of the launcher is bugged

    That would mean there is a bug in the game itself. Bugs are resolved when an update is released to the game. A few other users are also reporting similar error since some days ago so I think this is an issue with the game itself and not just with your account.
    If the team has recommended a bug report it means they are tracking this issue and will resolve it in an update.

    guys !! i saw a tweet about it today and someone said to use MultiMC and it worked !! i just had to put back the settings and the recources pack i use since it reseted it all but it works like normal MC !! i guess i'll be using that until microsoft fixes the issue :')) you can download it through google and if you need help with installing it just watch tutorials on youtube !! ^^
