WINDRIVE Partition

Hello, after I bought a new laptop Acer Aspire 7 A715-75G I've installed Windows 10. On the installation menu partition manager told me that Windows will created additional partitions I clicked Ok and MSR 16 MB and WINDRIVER 8 GB partition were created. I wanted to test something and I've reinstalled Windows 10 on same laptop and I deleted all previous partitions. After that I clicked Ok when Windows asked me about additional partition that will be created and I was surprise that WINDRIVER wasn't there. Why this happened and how can I get it back that WINDRIVER partition on the list?

yes, you will get a recovery partition - you will not get the windriver partition.

    Thank you for your reply BryceSor. I already deleted all the partitions that Windows 10 previous installation had been created. It will bring WINDRIVE partition suggestion back in the partition creating menu?

    When you bought your computer what was the operating system that was installed on it?

    I am not sure what WINDRIVE is, is it a named partition or is it a program?

    You didn't read any of my posts, that's why you're abusing in here. I wrote before. I have a brand new laptop which came with UEFI Shell 2.7 on it.

    And you need to READ!! I did not say it was created by a 3rd party link.

    I said there were SOLUTIONS, but they are 3rd party links!!

    Again, answer the questions above:

    This is a new laptop, why did you have to install

    Windows 10?

    What OS was on the laptop?

    Did you join Insiders and get a new build of Windows 10?

    Please right click Start, Run and type winver and tell us what build

    of Windows 10 you are on, because if you aren't on an Insider

    build then you are on the wrong forum.

    It's written above so basically you don't know what this topic all about..It comes with UEFI SHELL 2.7 as I mentioned before 3-4 times.

    So you don't know what this topic is all about and also you don't know what additional partitions Microsoft Windows 10 is creating on first install and you are Moderator on Microsoft forum WOW.
