    I have been trying for days to recover my previous hot mail account and emails from an old computer and transfer that info to a new computer. My previous e mail is: ******@hotmail.com. I am currently locked out of that account. I NEED HELP NOW!

    1. Your Hotmail account, messages and contacts aren't on the old computer. They're online.
    2. When did you last sign-in to the account?

         If you have, at any point, gone for a year without signing in to the account

         it was closed and can't be recovered.

    3. Are you trying to sign-in to the account at https://outlook.live.com with a browser?

    1. What problem, exactly are you having? What error message are you seeing?
    2. When you try to sign-in to the account, which browser are you using on

        which version of Windows?
