to their site and sign in so they have your address and password. That phishing message
isn't related in any way to the message you didn't receive from your father.

yes, the time is set to automatic and it is on.
yes both are set to automatic. i went ahead and sselected sync and it did.

What I'm trying to clarify is
"My MSN keeps changing my time region settings."
Does that mean the time in the lower right of the Desktop is changing spontaneously?

Yes it is changing back to pacific time every time I turn my computer on after I sign into MSN
