    1. Don't post the entire address, but is this an @outlook.com account, hotmail account, another?
    2. Were you accessing this account on the web with a browser? Which browser?
    3. What error message are you seeing?

Yes, I too need to talk to someone. I have an idea that relates to Microsoft Aliases used on old Hotmail (now Outlook) accounts. If they could give us temporary, per-basis, or HELL - even SINGLE, LIMITED-TIME USE - that would be GREAT! I really need my old Hotmail alias to work in order to recover an account. I'm sure i'm not the only one with this issue.

Please, Microsoft. The worst part is, the alias is still there, but its greyed out you can't use it. My Hotmail account became my Outlook account. But it's the same. Same inbox, same everything.
