[Windows update installing the new Edge browser] Update KB4559309 Makes Computer Unbearably Slow

Last night I updated my windows 10 pro using KB:4559309. Since then my computer performance has absolutely tanked. my startup time is probably triple, loading any window has a few second delay.

I attempted to uninstall the update however windows tells me that it is required and cannot be removed.

This update has essentially rendered my brand new computer useless.

Please help!

Hey there, everyone

I have spoken to Missy Quarry, from the Edge team, and they are investigating this problem. However, they really need more details submitted though the Feedback Hub on Windows 10.

To submit feedback, please go to start > Feedback Hub.

You will need to click onto report a problem. Then enter your feedback/problem you are having with Microsoft Edge. On the categories you will need to make sure you have the following drop down options selected in the image underneath:

The more detail you can submit, the better it will be for the Edge team to find out what is causing this issue. So the detail box that has the test comment, should detail everything you are experiencing.

Hope this helps,

Regards,

my computer kept telling me i had an update but put it off for a day or so as i was working on computer when i finished i believe  it initiated the update automatically. when i next went on the computer it showed microsoft edge instead of my usual google chrome for a browser, when i went back to google i believe it was then that no matter what i tried to go to took forever to load and the longer i was on it the longer it took until it finally told me i didnt have an internet connection. but my phone and tablet told me different. and in going to the same sights again, sometimes it loaded but took like 15 min other times it told me i wasnt connected. frustrated i started using my phone instead and then it started slowing with the loading issues as well. on the next day i could not even connect to google. i would click on it and absolutely nothing. i tried to restart my computer. i tried starting it from a privious date before i thought the issue started. and nothing. finally picked a date further back than that and when i got home the next day i could get into my google again but it was all slow loading and my saved icons on the google page were gone but shouldnt have been  as i only went back another week or so not 6 months or so. but it is the same loading issue or not loading issue,  or not connected when i am connected issue, and others  etc. etc on all my devices but only my computer had been updated to the best of my knowledge. now everything in any device or any browser is annoying.

are there any answers any where.?? why would it effect my tablet and phone too if i didnt update them
