[Windows update installing the new Edge browser] Update KB4559309 Makes Computer Unbearably Slow

Last night I updated my windows 10 pro using KB:4559309. Since then my computer performance has absolutely tanked. my startup time is probably triple, loading any window has a few second delay.

I attempted to uninstall the update however windows tells me that it is required and cannot be removed.

This update has essentially rendered my brand new computer useless.

Please help!

I have spoken to Missy Quarry, from the Edge team, and they are investigating this problem. However, they really need more details submitted though the Feedback Hub on Windows 10. 

To submit feedback, please go to start > Feedback Hub. 

You will need to click onto report a problem. Then enter your feedback/problem you are having with Microsoft Edge. On the categories you will need to make sure you have the following drop down options selected in the image underneath:

The more detail you can submit, the better it will be for the Edge team to find out what is causing this issue. So the detail box that has the test comment, should detail everything you are experiencing.

    And regarding the many bugs in Windows 10, I quoted an article from Quora Indonesia.

    Why is Windows 10's major update always accompanied by so many new problems?

    In 2014, Microsoft was "laying off" a large number of its employees. Among these employees is the tester division tasked with testing Microsoft's software before launch. (For reference:Microsoft is 'almost' done with its largest-ever layoff sweep).

    Instead, Microsoft introduced the Windows Insider program that roughly turns the user into a tester. The system is: The user is given access to the latest build, then the user can provide input to Microsoft for improvements to the OS build.

    Of course these "freelancers" are not as matched as possible and lack the necessary skills as a professional beta tester. This is what makes Windows 10 build releases often have a lot of bugs.

    When you next talk to Missy tell them that foisting unwanted **** on people's machines is pretty heinous and especially not letting them remove it.

    This really is the tip of the iceberg and it needs to stop, people need to have control of their own machines and what goes on them.

    "Windows As A Service" has been flawed from the outset and I really should have been added to the Microsoft payroll by now for sorting out the untold amounts of bugs in these releases that have affected me and my clients.
