Last night I updated my windows 10 pro using KB:4559309. Since then my computer performance has absolutely tanked. my startup time is probably triple, loading any window has a few second delay.

I attempted to uninstall the update however windows tells me that it is required and cannot be removed.

This update has essentially rendered my brand new computer useless.

Please help!

Hey there, everyone

I have spoken to Missy Quarry, from the Edge team, and they are investigating this problem. However, they really need more details submitted though the Feedback Hub on Windows 10.

To submit feedback, please go to start > Feedback Hub.

You will need to click onto report a problem. Then enter your feedback/problem you are having with Microsoft Edge. On the categories you will need to make sure you have the following drop down options selected in the image underneath:

The more detail you can submit, the better it will be for the Edge team to find out what is causing this issue. So the detail box that has the test comment, should detail everything you are experiencing.

Hope this helps,

Regards,

    I can help you

For the second time this month, a Windows 10 update is causing malfunctions. This time, it's a set of fixes that remove data and settings related to a user profile. Fortunately, nothing is deleted and it is possible to find your files.

For the second time in 15 days, an update of Windows 10 poses big problems for users and we obviously advise to wait before installing it. This is the numbered update KB4532693, released on February 11. It is a set of fixes that improve the security of Internet Explorer and Edge, of the Office suite but also of peripherals such as a mouse, a keyboard and a stylus.

An update that seems trivial but whose effects have been disastrous for some since users can no longer access their profile when restarting the computer. More exactly, all the data related to their profile has disappeared! Files, settings, icons, wallpapers and other applications no longer appear, and it's obviously panic.

After latest updates for Windows 10, My laptop takes more than 30 minutes to start and as it is working on some system security!!! When click on the search box (bottom left) a BLACK window pops up and does not perform search task.

When I wanted to restore to previous version, I got the warning as some of software may have to be installed again. I have already uninstalled Microsoft Edge with no improvement.
