[Windows update installing the new Edge browser] Update KB4559309 Makes Computer Unbearably Slow

Last night I updated my windows 10 pro using KB:4559309. Since then my computer performance has absolutely tanked. my startup time is probably triple, loading any window has a few second delay.

I attempted to uninstall the update however windows tells me that it is required and cannot be removed.

This update has essentially rendered my brand new computer useless.

Please help!

Hey there, everyone

I have spoken to Missy Quarry, from the Edge team, and they are investigating this problem. However, they really need more details submitted though the Feedback Hub on Windows 10.

To submit feedback, please go to start > Feedback Hub.

You will need to click onto report a problem. Then enter your feedback/problem you are having with Microsoft Edge. On the categories you will need to make sure you have the following drop down options selected in the image underneath:

The more detail you can submit, the better it will be for the Edge team to find out what is causing this issue. So the detail box that has the test comment, should detail everything you are experiencing.

Hope this helps,

Regards,

Windows always make a mistake after every update released for Win 10

If we are lucky and the Bluetooth working (we do not need to update the driver or change settings again) or we are lucky the touch pad is working (and the same we do not need to update the driver or change settings again) then I bet with you the speakers are not working or the laptop is slow.

If I ask Microsoft to solve remotely the funny things they say turn off to update Win 10! After they fix (as I got tired to fix for myself) than again if the win 10 updated something is not working.

WHY ARE YOU PAYING YOUR DEVELOPERS?

Test you system before you release your updated version.

ON EVERY TYPE OF DEVICE or minimum 85%!!!!!!!

Is anybody planned to set up a team and try to contact Microsoft together, so they can hear our voice? When I try alone (chat, email) always the same answer.

    NOTHING or they say sorry.

I have the same issues. Updated today. Straight after I booted up a game and it's running at 10-20 fps. Tested some other games and they are all the same. Why can i not uninstall this rubbish like other updates?
