Whenever I update my windows (for feature update) I get the same error stating Failed to install with error code **0x800707e7.While restarting (after downloading and installing feature update) it gets completed around 70% (sometimes 40%) and gets loaded for sometime stating undoing changes made to your computer and then gets restarted with the old version 1809.**Still now I might have tried upto 5 times. I have even tried various ways but nothing worked. So, I left this update and tried to update my windows to version 2004 using windows assistant, Even after that i ended in the same problem. So, I came here for an help.Someone Please help me out. Thanks in advance.

I checked both of your logs, but the setupact.log is not the correct one.

The setupapi.dev.log only shows one consistent failure regarding devices and it is the Kingston DataTraveler USB drive..  I am not sure why but you might check that or replace it..

Edit:  I was going to ask, are you connected to the internet when you do the update?  It seems there are some connection problems..

I will check your logs but the error regarding User Profile Suffix mismatch is a problem.  It is supposed to be ComputerName\UserName but for some reason it puts the .000 and makes it ComputerName\UserName.000.  I don't remember the reason, but you might do some research on that.

Using a wired connection may allow a better connection and stop some of those errors, assuming something else it not blocking that connection..

I will check your logs to see if it helps explain..

It does look like the user profile situation is at the heart of the of the upgrade failure..

You appear to have two folders, C:\Users\H and C:\Users\h when it is processing profiles..  Do you have two?

Other problems which may need to be looked into..

You are getting quite a few error from your Oracle install.  Maybe try to repair that install or uninstall..  The errors come from more that just this one Oracle component.

The Upgrade is trying to download some dynamic updates.  Many of those seem to be Intel Chipset drivers and a sound driver.  Since the downloads appear to be failing, is your normal Windows Update process working normally?
