AirPod Pros Keep Cutting In and Out

I also have the same issue with my Airpods pro and Asus ZenBook. My laptop supports Bluetooth version 5, so it doesn't seem to be an issue. I also noticed a weird behaviour: Airpods disconnect mostly when I have some high load on the system. For example, if I want to refresh 10 tabs is my web browser in the same time (just for the test), sound cuts start directly, it's not a coincidence. Sound cuts also happen randomly in any time, but much less. Disabling "hands-free" device in the sound settings makes the situation a little bit better, but not for 100% (and yes, having no mic is also quite disappointing). Also, disabling all enhancements and spatial sound in the device properties seems to make the situation better. At least this makes my aipods to work for hours until next sound cut. Also, it's weird, but sound cuts mostly happen when I listen the music with Aimp, and when sound cut happens, it's usually enough just to pause the playback for a few seconds and then resume again.

I found a solution for this. I had the same issue, but I noticed that at work I don't have such problems.. This issue was occurring only at home, especially when I was using internet connection (loading some pages or downloading files)

Bluetooth and WIFI 2,4 can interfere with each other.

Thankfully my router supports 5ghz, so I've connected and have no issues right now :D ! 
Remember that it may not work when you have multiple devices connected to 2.4 ghz who are using the WIFI connection.

The best way is to minimize connections to 2,4 ghz :) Hope that would work on yours side as well ! :D

I've issue when i connected to 5ghz.  When using 2,4 ghz it works well.

I had the same issue with my Airpods Pro and my Lenovo A485 running Windows 10 Pro. My Bluetooth adapter supports Bluetooth 5.0/LMP 9. The issue seems to be a power saver mode. Changing back and forth the playback device seems to enable the device for a couple of seconds and then something switches it into standby.

For keeping AirPods connected indefinitely to a Windows 10 device:

1. Go to Device Manager
2. In the 'devices by type' view, open the "Human Interface Devices**"** (not "Bluetooth")
3. Find either/all of these entries:
   • (Name) AirPods Audio/Video Remote Control HID
   • (Name) AirPods Hands-Free Call Control HID
   • "Bluetooth Low Energy GATT compliant HID device"
4. For each of the devices, right click and choose Properties
5. Go to Power Management tab
6. Uncheck the 'Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power' box.
7. Click OK

Worked for me nicely.

But  what if these won't show up under the "Human Interface Devices**"** section, only under "Audio, Video, Gamecontroller" and without any power management tab/options... :(
