I have the same problem. Started within the last month or so. Happens with both pairs of normal AirPods I have on two different (identical) Windows 10 Dell Latitude 5490 laptops.

I have a pair of AirPod Pros that I've had for a couple of weeks. Every time I connect them, the audio is fine but then a few seconds later the audio keeps cutting in and out. I have tried everything from disconnecting to reconnecting them, updating my Bluetooth driver, and trying everything I've found online but nothing works. The AirPod Pro's work perfectly fine on my phone, but not on my computer. And it's not just YouTube that I'm having the problem with, I tried using Spotify and Netflix with my AirPod Pro's and the audio keeps cutting out there as well. It's extremely frustrating, so if someone could help me I would appreciate it a ton.

2020-11-18T10:55:08+00:00 I have similar problems with my airpod pro when connecting to my new Lenovo ThinkPad E14. The bluetooth connects fine then after a few minutes it starts cutting and then drops completely. It works completely fine on other devices, iPhone, macbooks and another windows laptop. Funnily enough, the pause/unpause function on the airpod still works with the thinkpad so bluetooth is still connected.

2020-11-15T17:54:26+00:00 I wouldnt say they are garbage. My Airpod Pros work perfectly with my iphone, ipad and Macbook Pro but not with my PC. Im not sure if its some kind of bluetooth or Windows compatibility issue but I get the same problem as the original poster. Mine connect to the PC for a second or two then crackle and cut out. Really frustrating because the earphones work fine with Apple products but not with PC. Hopefully there’s some kind of fix which can be implemented soon.

2020-11-09T07:23:19+00:00 Nothing has worked for me either! AirPods connect fine but after a few minutes sound cuts out. I use these mostly when I'm gaming, and it's incredibly frustrating when sound is gone, I have to reconnect and it only last for a minute, if. Please fix this, Microsoft!
