AirPod Pros Keep Cutting In and Out

I have a pair of AirPod Pros that I've had for a couple of weeks. Every time I connect them, the audio is fine but then a few seconds later the audio keeps cutting in and out.  I have tried everything from disconnecting to reconnecting them, updating my Bluetooth driver, and trying everything I've found online but nothing works. The AirPod Pro's work perfectly fine on my phone, but not on my computer. And it's not just YouTube that I'm having the problem with, I tried using Spotify and Netflix with my AirPod Pro's and the audio keeps cutting out there as well. It's extremely frustrating, so if someone could help me I would appreciate it a ton.

Try doing the following as a temporary solution, which might be annoying:

    Open Sound Settings

    Select 'Manage Sound Devices'

Under Output Devices, select then Disable the AirPods Pro Hands-Free AG Audio

Under Input Devices, select then Disable the AirPods Pro Hands-Free AG Audioas well

This helps me get a more consistent connection. BUT, you will need to Re-Enable these options any time you want make use of that Device option, such as when on Zoom/Skype Call, or simply using your Mic whatsoever.

    Hope this helps a bit.

Nothing has worked for me either! AirPods connect fine but after a few minutes sound cuts out. I use these mostly when I'm gaming, and it's incredibly frustrating when sound is gone, I have to reconnect and it only last for a minute, if. Please fix this, Microsoft!

I have the same problem with my airpods pro on my Lenovo IdeaPad S540 with windows 10. My airpods pro work great with my phone and seems to work well on ny computer as well, for like 5 minutes and then the audio cuts of, but the airpods are still connected.

A quick fix for me that always temporarily fixes the problem is to just:

click on the sound icon on the bottom left,

click on "Earphones (xxxxx - AirPods Pro Stereo)",

click on "Speakers (synaptic audio)" and switch to my computers speakers,

then just do the same thing and select my airpods to be my audio again**.**

It takes like 3 seconds and works every time but its a bit annoying even though its a quick fix and i hope it gets fixed soon somehow. I hope someone finds this useful.

lol - have you ever thought about the idea that apple dont want their product (airpods) to work well with Windows, to make you think it's windows that's trash, so you want to buy a mac?

Almost similar to slowing down old iphones with software updates, then blaming it on old batteries....

Hi KatrinaJane18, can you try to turn off the WiFi on your laptop and connect your LAN for you to still have an internet connection then try again your Airpods to check if the audio will still cut in and out.

    To turn off the WiFi:

Click on the wireless network system icon on the taskbar notification area.

Click on the Wi-Fi action button to toggle on or off.

    OR

Open Settings, and click/tap on the Network & Internet icon.

Click the slider to turn it off.
