How to stop being logged out of everything automatically when I turn off my laptop

Can anyone help me please?  I installed a Windows 10 update on 23 June 2020 and, ever since then, whenever I turn my laptop on (after it being shut down) I find that have been logged off from everything.  This didn't happen prior to the update and it is happening every time I turn my laptop back on.  So it looks like when I shut down my laptop it is automatically logging me out of every application so when I turn it back on I have to log in to everything all over again (Outlook, OneDrive etc.)  Is there anything I can do to stop this?  It's infuriating!  Also, info that is usually remembered on websites that I use frequently e.g. ID numbers, passwords etc are also cleared whenever I shut down my laptop, even though I am checking the 'keep me logged in' boxes.  Any advice would be much appreciated.

    It sure would be nice to hear something directly from Microsoft on this issue, rather than folks hunting and pecking, stand on one foot and facing North to see if it fixes the issue.  Is anyone from Microsoft even looking at this Microsoft site?

    I'm getting logged out of everything even when I don't shut down my computer. It happens after a few hours of 'sleeping' or whatever. Some sites do remember my password, but I don't stay logged in. Some others, however, make me go through the 'which square has a stoplight' protocol and then make me get a new password anyway. I appreciate it if Microsoft is blocking some horrible worm that will melt my computer, but I hope they get this fixed soon.

    Getting a new monitor for my old mac soon, so maybe problem solved!

    I'm just recently experiencing the same thing, but I thought it was related to my new assignment to Microsoft 365.

    I never store passwords browsers and I've changed the settings for 'require sign in' to "never" (settings->accounts->sign-in options).

    Even worse, it seems every cookie is removed every time I reset Windows. I only using Chrome as the browser though. Am I only allowed to use Edge when logged in to M 365?

    First time it will prompt you again, but then close applications down and restart to see if it corrects it.
