How to stop being logged out of everything automatically when I turn off my laptop

Can anyone help me please?  I installed a Windows 10 update on 23 June 2020 and, ever since then, whenever I turn my laptop on (after it being shut down) I find that have been logged off from everything.  This didn't happen prior to the update and it is happening every time I turn my laptop back on.  So it looks like when I shut down my laptop it is automatically logging me out of every application so when I turn it back on I have to log in to everything all over again (Outlook, OneDrive etc.)  Is there anything I can do to stop this?  It's infuriating!  Also, info that is usually remembered on websites that I use frequently e.g. ID numbers, passwords etc are also cleared whenever I shut down my laptop, even though I am checking the 'keep me logged in' boxes.  Any advice would be much appreciated.

It's December now and I am still facing the same annoying issue!

I wish I could just get a Mac now as this lagging support is ruthlessly after my productive hours! Thanks to Microsoft I have to log in to each and every account again once I turn my computer on.

Clearing cached passwords does not work.  Please let us know when Microsoft releases a patch for this incredibly horrible bug.  I am flabbergasted that they think this is ok.  And that they've let it go on month after month is inconceivable.

    Hello,

Microsoft Edge has been updated to Edge Chromium.

Chromium is the underlying code of the web browser developed by Google.

Both Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge Chromium are customised versions of the same web browser now.

Ha, I have been a lifer with PC and finally broke down and got a Mac. There are things I don't like about the Mac so I use both, but more and more I am using Mac because of problems like this that don't get resolved timely.

    Hello

There was a patch due to address this but unsure whether installed yet.

Also read that cleaning cached passwords has resolved it for some.

Can you try to Clear Cached Passwords

The first thing you need to do in order to fix your issue would be to clear your cached passwords located in the Control Panel. Here’s how to do it:

Go to the Start Menu and open up the Control Panel.

Set the View By, located under the address bar on the right-hand side, to Large Icons.

    Navigate to User Accounts

On the left-hand side, click on ‘Manage your credentials’

Select the credentials for Lync, Outlook, and Microsoft in both the Windows Credentials and Generic Credentials.

Click on Details and then select Remove from Vault.

Exit the Control Panel and then restart your system.

I did this and I *think* it worked!!! This has been driving me NUTS. I was/am using office 365 and having to re-log into all my gmail accounts through there, adobe acrobat, one drive and countless other apps.
