Pen tablet makes black screen when i'm using program from microsoft

So i try using my pen tablet on Microsoft word, Microsoft whiteboard and then when I write something my screen blinks like crazy, after that it will crash my PC. But when I use software like Adobe photoshop or medibang pro everything is fine. Any ideas?

edit: my mouse also make my screen goes black when i try to draw something on ms word, ms whiteboard, fullscreen snip from microsoft

Hello guys, apparently I have the same problem when I use my wacom tablet to draw in any microsoft software mostly on One Note and Words. Hence, after a thorough research I found one method to relieve the issue.

1# Update your graphic driver to the latest from the Intel website (not OEM driver) . You need to manually install the driver using .zip file format and never use .exe format to install. If you automatically scan your device it will probably says “Up to Date” but unfortunately it is not. That’s why you need to update it manually. For more further instruction on installations, you can just google it. I found this method from website whiteboard.uservoice.com.

    I have the same issue since 2 to 4 weeks ago. Using the pen in office applications (in Word, or in OneNote, or in PowerPoint...) makes the screen go black as soon as I finish drawing any line, stays black for 1 sec, then it comes back. You draw another line, it goes black for another second, then comes back. Eventually, it stays black forever and I am forced to force-restart the computer.

    It happens with ANY input device. It happens if I use my mouse, if I use my wacom tablet, if I use my XP-Pen.... it happens with all of them.

    Being a university teacher, this is a big issue for me as I need to teach online and need to start recording videos for offline teaching.

    VERSIONS:

    Win 10 Home Edition

    [Windows Update says I am up to date as of 16 December 2020]

    Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus. 

    [Word version is "Word for Office 365 MSO (16.0.12527.21296) 64-bit]

    Peevious solutions in this thread didn't work.

    I tried the solution by JoeCh1 on 1st August, to change "policy permissons" and it did not work (the policies were already set correctly. Also, in Win 10 home edition I had to find out how to enable the gpedit.msc first).

    Hi FJRod,  I gave up after learning that this problem has existed since 2016 without successful action from MSoft, So I take a Snip&Sketch of the part I want to notate and draw on that.

    Hi,

    You say it happens since 2016. It's really weird because I've encountered this problem suddenly after at least 3 years of using the very same computer, softwares and stylus... Now it sometimes even does it when I draw with my fingertip, but so far it has only blinked a few times but never blanked off totally. Scary... :-(

    I checked what changes had occured on my computer recently.

    My Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus was updated to version 16.0.12527.21330 on 12 Nov 2020. This is very shortly before I started to notice this problem, so I am currently inclined to think this version of Office could be the problem, maybe.

    This would not be  solution for me because I need to annotate entire Word documents, then print them as pdf's to share with students, etc. But, anyway, I tested this, and it turns out I have exactly the same problem happening in the Snip&Sketch software. Whenever I choose the pen and start inking, the screen turns black for a second or so.
