Pen tablet makes black screen when i'm using program from microsoft

So i try using my pen tablet on Microsoft word, Microsoft whiteboard and then when I write something my screen blinks like crazy, after that it will crash my PC. But when I use software like Adobe photoshop or medibang pro everything is fine. Any ideas?

edit: my mouse also make my screen goes black when i try to draw something on ms word, ms whiteboard, fullscreen snip from microsoft

Hello guys, apparently I have the same problem when I use my wacom tablet to draw in any microsoft software mostly on One Note and Words. Hence, after a thorough research I found one method to relieve the issue.

1# Update your graphic driver to the latest from the Intel website (not OEM driver) . You need to manually install the driver using .zip file format and never use .exe format to install. If you automatically scan your device it will probably says “Up to Date” but unfortunately it is not. That’s why you need to update it manually. For more further instruction on installations, you can just google it. I found this method from website whiteboard.uservoice.com.

    I've had a similar problem. My HP Envy running training in MS Teams with external monitor and sharing the whiteboard whilst drawing on the touchscreen. Suddenly there is a glitch and all the screens go black. Note my delegates still connected. They can see me. But I can't see them or my screens. Just inky blackness. And the only way out is to reboot and leave my delegates in Teams hanging. HP recommended rebooting the BIOS which I did. Makes no odds. I think the problem dates from the most recent Office Update as well so maybe i should revert?

    I want a solution as drawing on a whiteboard when virtual training is a key replication of a classroom staple learning tool

    I have the very same problem with the same computer since about one year now (after one of many MS updates), and not any Microsoft update since then has ever fixed it. There is no solution so far in my opinion. Some people switch to other softwares, which doesn't suit everyone, including me... :-(((

    Hi, everyone. After over a year struggling with this issue and, because of that, being unable to update my Windows to the 2004 or 20h1/20h2 version, I have finally figured out how to fix it.  It solved the problem 100%. Now I can draw on Whiteboard and all Office programs without my screen going black.
    How to solve it:
    Open any Microsoft Office program.

    1. Click on the File tab in the upper left.
    2. Select Options from the left navigation menu.
    3. In the popup window, select Advanced from the left navigation menu.
    4. Scroll down to the Display section and check the box to Disable hardware graphics acceleration.
    5. Click OK.
    6. Close all Office applications.
    7. Restart your computer.

    Also, update ALL your drivers.  It should work.

    Thank you, thank you, thank you for this! It seems to have done the trick (mostly: I'm still getting a quick flash of black when double clicking with the pen, but I can just avoid doing this - the main thing is that my PC is no longer crashing!)
