High performance Power plan missing.

Hi, i have a surface laptop and i cant change my performance in power options in control panel, it would just show balanced for me, and when i press create a new power plan i cant see high performance, it only shows balance, i need a way to get high performance can anyone please help me?

This is a temporary fix i guess, but it works for me nonetheless

using the command:

"powercfg -duplicatescheme 8c5e7fda-e8bf-4a96-9a85-a6e23a8c635c"

does not add the plan high performance in this power plan. So i ended up forcing the plan to run from cmd with this code:

"powercfg -s 8c5e7fda-e8bf-4a96-9a85-a6e23a8c635c"

and create the ".bat" file to have a launcher so i don't have to type whenever i need to use the plan. The plan runs after couple seconds of delay and appear alongside with "balanced plan". If you change the plan to the original one, the high performance one will dissapear so you need to launch the code again.

    Hi BHeMatrix!

    I have followed your described steps for restoring the power plan - that worked well. However, it didn't worked to restore the power options. After running the Default Power Options from  Green-file -->Reloaded, some errors occur:

    The CsEnabled not available anymore for windows 10 v2004 but you can still restore all the power plans and power settings: DOWNLOAD

    There no need to use a command prompt or registry editor and all you need to do is just click on the batch file then it fixed.

    POWER SCHEMES FOLDER:

    Power Saver & High Performance ~ To import the original windows power plans.

    Ultimate Performance ~ This power plan is only to be used for higher-end PCs.

    Restore Profile ~ To clear and reset the original windows power profile.

    POWER SETTINGS FOLDER:

    Default Enable ~ To automatically restore all windows standard power settings.

    Advanced Enable ~ To automatically restore all windows expert power settings.

    Settings Disable ~ To automatically remove all the windows power settings.

    Troubleshooter ~ To fix problems with power settings and conserve battery life.

    DEFAULT & ADVANCED OPTIONS:

    To manually enable or disable your own power settings by clicking on the reg files.

    DIAGNOSE TOOLS:

    A collection of diagnostic windows system power tools for fault-finding the issues.
