Thanks for the reply. Malwarebytes is not running plus when I booted it up, Ransomeware is turned off.

2020-07-06T00:04:52+00:00 FYI: it sounds like you stopped the services, but forgot to right-click on each one, and go to "properties" then change from automatic (or whatever it was set to) to DISABLED - that is an important step otherwise it will just start up on reboot.

I disabled main sys and indexing, and the rest of the suggestions mentioned in this thread, nothing works. Maybe there should be an update to fix this.

2020-07-06T03:36:37+00:00 It's great that people have worked out their own fixes and workarounds but IMO it shouldn't be necessary. You should be able to purchase a product and have confidence it will perform as expected. Microsoft aren't some small little startup, they have huge teams of people working on these projects and they should get it right. using the paying public to trial the product and iron out the bugs is not how it should be.

Not sure what you mean by each one. When I checked in there, I only saw the one thing and disabled it. Nothing changed.
As JC says, this isn't working for him & doesn't do anything on this end either. Why am I still suspecting this has to do with an update?
