I faced a bsod an hour or so ago. It was DRIVER IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL and I think its related with a sound driver. And also an IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL.

The ntoskrnl.exe doesn't point to any specific issue. Most BSOD will have ntoskrnl.exe but will also indicate a specific component with a the problem.

Kernel is generally referring to processing, but in your case that could be CPU, or could be the motherboard.

Rdyboost.sys is a Windows driver. A driver is a small software program that allows your computer to communicate with hardware or connected devices. This means that a driver has direct access to the internals of the operating system, hardware etc.

Again this could mean virtually anything connected to the motherboard.

It does indicate a motherboard problem, but without the vendor assistance in troubleshooting it will be difficult to ascertain what part is the problem.

In the past when i'm liaised with hardware vendors over problems such as this, more often they themselves even replace the parts out rather than try and troubleshoot now.

As I recommended before, due to the age of your system, if you do replace the motherboard, you may consider replacing the CPU and memory at the same time.

I understand the frustration of Windows 10 behaving like this especially after you have spent time on trying to resolve this issue already.

Thanks for giving your time to this.

I have to say that my windows is already updated and so are my drivers except my GeForce graphics card. I already had disabled the startup applications. I used driver easy to update my drivers and I using the 432.00 version of GeForce driver which was installed by Windows 10 automatically.

I don't have any third party antivirus or firewall , just I installed Malwarebytes, checked through my pc and uninstalled it.

I already had ran many scans for disk , memory ,processor , corrupt files and etc.

I will try the first suggestion given by you. Thanks for giving me that suggestion.

And last I wanna talk about is that should I update my bios , I don't know how to do it but is it necessary ?

And on the way now I'm installing Planetside 2 on my PC and its installation is probably stucked

for few last hours , I checked Task Manager and my network usage is only 1%, can this issue be my PC,s doing or is it their server's problem?

A reply will be really helpful . Thank You

Hello,

Yes I would always keep your bios up to date.
Easiest way to think of it is, the bios software for the motherboard. As windows needs to talk to the hardware, if the software on both is too out of date it can cause problems.

In terms of Planetside 2, where are you installing that from.

Apologies if you have already been asked,

Can you confirm the make, model and service tag of your PC, or if a custom PC the make and model of the motherboard.

I think the delay in planetside 2 is down to the servers yes.

What country are you in as there are usually internet speed testers available
