I started noticing that my PC was not going into sleep mode and I had to do something about it because it was disrupting my sleep!!
I noticed that the MoUsoCoreWorker process was present in my powercfg requests and it kept coming back.
Upon further investigation I found that someone mentioned that updating your PC may fix the issue. I didn't believe it , but when I checked for updates I noticed that there was an issue, and it was showing that I had
a failed update. There was also an option to download and install a new feature update for Win10.
I downloaded the feature update, installed it and restarted my machine. This enabled the update check to work on my PC again and it found an additional update to the .net framework. I installed that and restarted the
PC again.
Then as a test I attempted to put the PC to Sleep by lowering the settings to 1 minute and it worked!!
This may not work for everyone but the first thing to do is -
Check to make sure that you don't have any issues with any Updates and that your PC is fully up to date.
I'm so happy because the noise was driving me insane at night and I couldn't sleep either.
