why my windows is not ready for update

The Windows 10 May 2020 Update is on its way. Once it’s ready for your device, you’ll see the update available on this page. 

This is the message shown by the system.

I have "HP OMEN 15 Series" laptop. I keep my drivers Up to date but why I am not reciving this update.

    Hey,

    Wanted to update community, I finally received the update. 

    Some points... 

    • directly received 20h2 update (it is inclusive with previous updates) 
    • Microsoft issues page still lists all the problems as it is but I received via normal Windows update route so I updated it. 
    • my machine is decent hardware if not the most premium and very good Internet connection ..... It took more than 11 hours...

    Machine is working fine... Fingers crossed..! 

    Best luck guys... I hope you all also receive it in couple of days.

    After waiting for 10 months I got fed up enough to install the update manually via Windows Update assistant. Went through without a problem and I'm on 20H2 now.

    I am pleased I'm not the only one with the same issue.  Very frustrating!  Does anyone know how we can solve it?

    If the update keeps failing it means you're not meant to have it yet.  Don't give the install yet because it may play havoc with your apps or something else on your device.  Let Microsoft tell you when they're ready.

    You'll have to wait, it took a while for me to get it. I was able to update my older laptop  first and then a little over a week ago I was able to update both my Dell XPS computers, desktop and laptop.
