Cortana can't control music.

I am using the latest version of Windows which is Windows 10 2004.

Cortana is updated to the latest version

When i give command to cortana "Play any song"

Cortana replies "Sorry, I can't control your music here."

Please anyone help me with this.

    For those who the Microsoft store warns as unsupported for the Alexa app, you can change the region settings of windows to a supported country and install it. Works like a charm now

    The latest version of Cortana doesn't have its Notebook. Can I request for Cortana to update for a newer version that can control music? Thanks.

    Microsoft discontinued all consumer functions in Cortana because Amazon's Alexa won the war.

    Guys instead of Cortana you can download The Alexa app from the Microsoft store...

    Here's the link:

    And after you've downloaded the Alexa app, follow the steps below to link Spotify to Alexa.

    • Go to Amazon Alexa
    • Click Music, video, and books.
    • Scroll down until you see Spotify
    • Click Spotify and click enable
    • You will be asked to enter your Spotify credentials.
    • Then scroll down and click Agree.
    • There..! You're done!😄
    • Go here if you want to set your default player as Spotify.
