Cortana can't control music.

I am using the latest version of Windows which is Windows 10 2004.

Cortana is updated to the latest version

When i give command to cortana "Play any song"

Cortana replies "Sorry, I can't control your music here."

Please anyone help me with this.

    Hi,

    In Windows 10 version 2004, Cortana is a productivity assistant instead of a personal assistant, hence the changes. This is a part of ongoing efforts to redesign Cortana. You may see some changes in the future, but not that come under "personal assistance".

    it let's me to turn on spotify but if i ask cortana to play music she tells me the same thing.

    I have the same problem. It appeared after latest Cortana update. Before i was able to control media, even if I used internet browser to play music.

    Sorry Mr. Fox.
    I've no interest in adding anything from Google to windows.
    I don't use any of their products now and don't plan on using any in the future.
    That includes Android btw.   Google has only googles interests at heart.
    Cloud computing, Android apps, searching all require you to be online so that you can be tracked.
    Even Microsoft is guilty of it, so I minimize my internet connectivity.

    Which is why my question of Why can't I use Cortana to play local mp3 files was important at the time.
    With Microsoft gutting Cortana to be used only as a business assistant I have no use for that either.
