I am getting these errors with "Failed with 0x57 retrieving AppModelRuntime status for package Windows." Anyone know what's causing this? Computer is up to date with windows updates...

Friends, I have the same problem when I try to run a 3D application that requires my graphics card to be squeezed 100% approximately 10 minutes after using the application, the screen freezes and forces me to completely restart the PC, when I check Event Viewer tells me the following: Error retrieving 0x57 status of runtime application model for Windows package. The truth is that I have been with this problem for more than 2 weeks and cannot find any solution.

Hi all - in the absence of any useful feedback from Microsoft so far, I can say that from this thread and others I've found that one common element seems to be nVidia 3d cards being installed on machines having this issue - please post if you find otherwise. Unfortunately, I've rolled back to multiple different versions of nVidia drivers, going back to 442.74 drivers from March of this year, and nothing seems to solve this issue. Any insight anyone can offer would be most appreciated.
Hello ak7228 I did exactly the same, even installed old drivers that the company has on its website. I read that someone had to go back to the old windows version to solve this problem. I haven't done it. Regards.
Hi Patricio - it would be extremely disappointing if the "fix" turned out to be "roll back to Win10 1909 and use 6+ month old drivers", but I actually had this issue on 1909 and I ran the upgrade to 2004 to see if that would help - needless to say, it didn't :(
