I have this same issue and tried just about everything under the sun. Trying to determine if this was hardware or software related issue. This thread is a good information for me.
I have recently upgraded to Win 10 2004 (yesterday) and was about to play COD for hours at end without, the computer freezing (causing a hard restart) or rebooting with no BSOD.
On wins 1909 it happened what seemed randomly and couldn't figure out. Tested everything, SFC, DICM, checking PSU, checking RAM (right now I removed all sticks but one), turning off OC settings, clean install on my M.2 NVMe drive (multiple times) but the issues keeps happening. VERY Frustrating. I see a lot of people are indicating that rolling back to 1909 may fix it so i will keep that as a back up.
MS, please look into this issue.
** Just noticed that this error was introduced yesterday shortly after updating to 2004.... Ugh...
