MS forced me to switch to 20H2 and low and behold, Event ID 65 started showing up again.
I now have to figure out how to prevent this forced switch since MS refuses to address this MAJOR issue w/ 20H2.
Beats me why MS would want to anger and inconvenience their customers like this.
MY HW changed from last summer (new PC build) and I specifically stayed away from 20H2 until positive, meaningful reports are produced that would lead me to believe MS addressed it.
I never saw these ridiculous errors / perf hits / eventual crashes until 20H2.
My current HW:
AMD Ryzen 7 3800XT
GTX3070 (8GB VRAM)
Asus X570-Plus w/ latest BIOS
32GB Mushkin 3466Mhz RAM
Seems like the ID 65s MAY be related to GPUs w/ greater than 6GB VRAM. This is just an empirical observation.
So how do I prevent this excuse-for-an-OS version from being forced down my throat?
