Hi, has someone already tried to go back to a previous version of windows, or build version 1909 to see if this error is eliminated?
since apparently the problem only occurs in the version of windows 2004 19041

Hi Rao - unfortunately, rolling back to 451.48 did not resolve this issue for me. I have $1400 worth of graphics cards that are essentially good for Folding @ Home at this point, and useless for any other 3D software. Given that Prakhar and Microsoft seem to have abandoned this thread and this issue weeks ago, I am starting to think that the best long-term solution will be to switch to Linux.
My Prepar3Dv4.5 flight simulator was stable all these months though I keep updating latest Nvidia Game Ready Drivers whenever prompted including all windows updates. As per my understanding the trouble ( P3DV4.5 crash to desktop) started in July, this month
beginning most probably after updating Nvidia drivers to version 451.67(release date 9th July 2020). I did some experiments: (a) Repaired P3Dv4.5 (b) Verified all ORBX products' files. (c) Installed Nvidia Drivers Version 451.48 ( release date 24th June 2020)
since there was no problem with this version for me earlier. Now my simulator is running continuously with no CTD ( so far tested for three hours only) with multiple landings at different airports. This is just feedback from my side. Will observe few more
days to see what's happening on long flights and multiple landings across regions. GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX TITAN X 12GB
Hi,
I have the same Issue but it happen mostly when I boot the PC.
Right now the only consequences I've notice is that my pc in takin gmore than 1 full minute to shut down.
I'll try to run some games to see if I have other problems.
I also have an Nvidia GTX1660ti.
I'll wait some answer frm MS too.
Thakns
Very glad to have found this page. I have been having this problem also! I have a GTX1660 and can play a game for a while or for 5 minutes but screen goes black and comp crashes. these are the only errors leading up to this fault state.
This is the run of errors from a clean boot on a newly re-installed from scratch windows. Fix for this hugely needed.
