Anyone knows how i can get the 1909 version to downloaded into a flashdrive? I just got the lastest version 2004 and it makes my pc useless. every day my pc shuts down at least 4 times. Microsoft its pss me off to much.

I am getting these errors with "Failed with 0x57 retrieving AppModelRuntime status for package Windows." Anyone know what's causing this? Computer is up to date with windows updates...

2020-08-01T23:21:36+00:00 I have this same issue and tried just about everything under the sun. Trying to determine if this was hardware or software related issue. This thread is a good information for me.
I have recently upgraded to Win 10 2004 (yesterday) and was about to play COD for hours at end without, the computer freezing (causing a hard restart) or rebooting with no BSOD.
On wins 1909 it happened what seemed randomly and couldn't figure out. Tested everything, SFC, DICM, checking PSU, checking RAM (right now I removed all sticks but one), turning off OC settings, clean install on my M.2 NVMe drive (multiple times) but the issues keeps happening. VERY Frustrating. I see a lot of people are indicating that rolling back to 1909 may fix it so i will keep that as a back up.
MS, please look into this issue.
** Just noticed that this error was introduced yesterday shortly after updating to 2004.... Ugh...

I have been getting the same problems. I recently upgraded to an i9-10900k (stock settings), and a z490 master mobo. I did a fresh windows install on a new NVMe drive using a 2004 usb media (no choice, old system was 2004). I have a trusty asus rog strix 1080 ti oc (stock).
Ive gotten the nlvddkkm.sys error, and have any 3D game start crashing. (Eg RDR2 - err_gfx_state, overwatch - your rendering device has been lost, AC:Odyssey - Crash to Desktop (nvlddkmm.sys error), elite dangerous - hang, or any other 3D game.
Ive done sfc /scannow, and a dsim repair. No issues. Ive done clean nvidia driver installs of 451.67 /.48 and even the hotfix .81. All freeze / crash and rarely bsod when attempting to launch or run games.
Is reinstalling windows 1909 the only option?
