GPU crashes, Failed with 0x57 retrieving AppModel Runtime status for package Windows.

I don't get this error anymore since i have updated my windows 10 to version 19042.423 (20H2) through windows insider beta channel ring

I can confirm that the Beta update fixed this issue for me. No more errors in the log and the stutter/freezes are (hopefully) gone (forever).

According to event viewer the issue started on the 25th of August and has accumulated over 156 times on my system in 4 days. I have NOT noted any specific crashes associated to it or any odd behaviour.

That doesnt mean i dont want to know **** is going on here.... 

The starting date concurs with the following driver update

NVIDIA - Display - 27.21.14.5193

being forced on my machine by Windows update

(these are regular forced driver updates by Windows Update that can not be objected against and are silent...and occur once per month)

My PC is running Windows 10, Version 2004, OS Build 19041.1.

I have a two-week-old Nvidia RTX2070 Super GPU with the latest Nvidia driver installed (452.06).

I've been playing Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 for a couple of weeks now without any crashes. 

Last night my PC installed Windows updates KB4571756 & KB4576478.

This morning I tried playing MFS2020 again and it kept crashing , the error logs showed the Failed with 0x57 retrieving AppModel Runtime status for package Windows error.

After uninstalling the two Windows updates KB4571756 & KB4576478 the game is stable again.

So for me, the issue seems to be with the above Windows updates.

I've uninstalled these two updates and it worked for a couple hours. Then the next morning the crashes reappeared! Have you identified other updates that need uninstalling? I'm also thinking of installing a previous nvidia driver...
