GPU crashes, Failed with 0x57 retrieving AppModel Runtime status for package Windows.
Gidday all, I've been running into a issue with my GPU crashing and I have nailed it down to the error in event viewer " Failed with 0x57 retrieving AppModel Runtime status for package Windows. "
I have changed gpu drivers, completely uninstalled drivers, wiped my m.2 and reinstalled windows and nothing worked. Any ideas? Thank you

2020-11-16T12:57:45+00:00 The Notification Assistant is the cartoon balloon style icon completely to the right on the Desktop Task Bar. If you left mouse you get a list of possible issues on the computer. If you mouse right "Open Action Center, Focus Assist, Don't Show App Icons. and Don't Show Number of Notifications" action items appear.
Thanks, I see those two options, but JM881 said to turn off the fullscreen rule, any idea where to find that?
This is what I think JM881 is talking about - I left clicked on the Notification Assistant, then right clicked on Focus Assist (Crescent Moon icon), then Go To Settings. On the new window which opens, under the section "Automatic Rules," turn off the option "When I'm using an app in full screen mode."
Turning this option off hasn't stopped the error from being logged in Even Viewer though, but so far, it has stopped my computer from crashing/freezing. Plus, I haven't noticed any lag in a game when the error is happening and logged.

I updated to 20H2 and have had the same results. I guess we can call this issue resolved.

2020-12-05T15:36:55+00:00 I've updated to 20H2 and my pc worked for about 3 hours before it crashed and now it is happening every 10 minutes in any game. I don't know if I have the same problem but my monitors just freeze and turn a random colour and I'm pretty sure it is a GPU problem because i have stress tested everything and it only crashes when I do it on the GPU. I can still hear my game when my pc crashes though. I am very confused and I have tried re-installing my GPU and all the drivers but nothing has worked. And when I check windows diagnostics it says "Failed with 0x57 retrieving AppModel Runtime status for package Windows."
I would really appreciate if someone helped me.
Michael
