GPU crashes, Failed with 0x57 retrieving AppModel Runtime status for package Windows.

Gidday all, I've been running into a issue with my GPU crashing and I have nailed it down to the error in event viewer " Failed with 0x57 retrieving AppModel Runtime status for package Windows. "

I have changed gpu drivers, completely uninstalled drivers, wiped my m.2 and reinstalled windows and nothing worked. Any ideas? Thank you

    It has to do with a bug between Windows 10 and Source games I'm pretty sure. Back when CS had problems with it, the fix was the same. Having dealt with the problem of Apex crashing for about a week on Alt Tabbing, and then remembering the CS go problem. My crashing from Alt-Tabbing is cured.

    Below are the steps on how to fix the crashing:

    1. go to Focus Assist Settings
    2. turn off all the automatic rules

    Fixes my errors and also my friends.

    So I've been having this problem since I updated to Windows 10 version 2004. Tried everything mentioned here and the only thing that has worked for me was reinstalling C++

    I installed the updated Visual C++ redistributable package and it seemed to do the trick. My fingers are still crossed here though - I haven't tested it over extended periods of time, but I've gone from crashing within 3 minutes everytime I opened Call of Duty Warzone, to being able to play for a solid 30 minutes. I'll test it further over the coming days.

    This worked for me.  The event was happening (no crash) while playing a game, likely at startup, and alt-tab to get to desktop.  The issue began after I did a clean install from microsoft iso, and got no better after updates.

    Windows 10 pro, version 2004, build 19041.508

    NVIDIA: 432.00

    Same here, but SOLVED.

    Just turn off the full screen rule of the notification assistant. No error in the event viewer and no crash since then.
