Documents disappearing from print queue and not printing

I am using a Brother DCP-195C printer.  The printer is working - I can monitor ink levels etc from the Brother Control centre on my PC but I can't print.

    Please could you confirm when it stopped working and post a screenshot of your Windows Update History like I did?

    Although the link to updates is only a theory of mine if we can gather more circumstantial evidence it might encourage Microsoft to investigate this sooner. Thanks.

    1. Select the start button or Windows Desktop Search and type update history and select View your Update history.
    2. On the Settings/View update history dialog window, Select Uninstall Updates.
    3. On the Installed Updates dialog window, find and select KB4560960 or KB4557957, and select the Uninstall button.
    4. Restart your device.

    It's a known issue caused by the June Update. For 1903/1909 it is KB4560960. For 2004, it is KB4557957.

    Uninstall it at "START, Settings, Update & Security, View Update History, Uninstall Updates". Then block it with WUShowHide...

    You've got to try to catch it coming in again. Be prepared with WUShowHide immediately after doing the uninstall.
