Documents disappearing from print queue and not printing

Did you get KB4567512-- which cures the problem in 1903/1909? Click for it at Windows Update. Check at "START, Settings, Update & Security, View Update History" to see whether it has come in.

If it won't come in -- then block the other one (KB4560960) with WUShowHide (as I posted earlier). Otherwise, that will come back with the problem.

No, I haven't received that update. The two which I have received, and which seem to be the cause of my printing issues, viz: KB4559309 & KB4497165, are still there, and (up until the time of this posting), I have simply been unable to uninstall them. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!

(1) I guess it doesn't hurt to investigate them first. But any particular update may work for some & not for others. I normally take what is offered & would uninstall it only if problems developed. It did happen at least once to me.

(2) Hmm -- we're in the same boat with KB4567512. I reverted back to 1909 just now because 2004 became horribly unstable. I click for it, but KB4567512 hasn't shown up. But I don't suffer the printing problem & haven't needed to block the other.

Yeah, click for it now/then, eventually it must come.

(1) I wasn't sure if the KB4497165 update was safe on AMD laptops but it seems to be okay to download. I have paused the download for a few days to get clarification on if it is okay but based on Microsoft community answers it seems to be alright to download.

(2) No, the KB4567512 has not shown up yet. I did click "Check for Updates," which is how I came to notice the KB4497165 update. Will continue to "check for updates" to see if KB4567512 will eventually appear.

Luckily, my printer is now working - which is what I was most worried about in the first place, so thank you for the help with that and your continued advice.

I presume as it showed up in your queue it is appropriate for your computer. Or, it has come to determine whether it is appropriate & act accordingly. I would only block one that has already proven itself to be problematic.

(2) Has KB4567512 shown up yet? Did you click "Check for Updates"?

The update KB4560960 eventually showed up on the WUShowHide feed and I was able to hide it. An update numbered KB4497165 also showed up on my "Hide Updates" option, above KB4560960. Is it best to hide the update KB4497165 as well? I have a Samsung Notebook 7 Spin 15.6 AMD Ryzen laptop and I am unsure if I must download or hide the KB4497165.
