Documents disappearing from print queue and not printing

I am using a Brother DCP-195C printer.  The printer is working - I can monitor ink levels etc from the Brother Control centre on my PC but I can't print.

    Well if no option came up to uninstall you could have a look at the suggestions listed HERE.  The basic Unistall option was available on my system - though I did note that it wasn't available for some of the other updates.

    I also do not have the option to uninstall the update (right click on highlited update does not come up with the install option)

    I tried the suggestions from your link (HERE).

    Advanced start up troubleshooting / uninstall from command prompt. Neither uninstalled the update (KB4560960).

    I am in the process of a System Restore to June 10/2020 when the updated was installed.

    Hopefully that works --- I'll update with results

    You are welcome. May as well try KB4567512 from the Catalog. I think uninstalling more than KB4560960 is overkill.

    Hi PCR,

    No, I haven't received that update. The two which I have received, and which seem to be the cause of my printing issues, viz: KB4559309 & KB4497165, are still there, and (up until the time of this posting), I have simply been unable to uninstall them. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr!

    Try taking KB4567512 from the Microsoft Update Catalog. The two you mention are not known to cause the problem. I've got both installed & can print.

    Take the one that matches what is seen at "Right-click START, System" regarding Edition, Version & Architecture. For me, it would be Windows 10 Home, version 1909, & 64-bit...

    It would be like that for the SSU (KB4560959) too, but I think everyone already has that at "START, Settings, Update & Security, View Update History, Uninstall updates"...

    thankyou pcr, jst uninstalled kb...60960 and kb ..557957.. and also a adobe security updte. and it printer started working. thankyou so much.
