Documents disappearing from print queue and not printing

I am using a Brother DCP-195C printer.  The printer is working - I can monitor ink levels etc from the Brother Control centre on my PC but I can't print.

    Hi,

    I have also recently came across this problem with my Brother MFC-255CW printer after my laptop did three updates on June 10, 2020. I have windows 1909. After uninstalling the KB4560960 update, my printer is abled to work again. Thanks for the help.

    Unfortunately, I do not know how to block the update from reinstalling using the WUShowHide technique since WUShowHide is not showing the KB4560960 update in the uninstall feed to block. Could you help me with this matter on how I can block the update ending in 960 from reinstalling? 

    Also, looking through my update history - I did not get the KB4567512 update which is supposed to cure the problem in 1903/1909. Does it take time for all windows 1909 laptops to receive this update?

    Did you get KB4567512 -- which cures the problem in 1903/1909? Click for it at Windows Update. Check at "START, Settings, Update & Security, View Update History" to see whether it has come in.

    If it won't come in -- then block the other one (KB4560960) with WUShowHide (as I posted earlier). Otherwise, that will come back with the problem.

    Well if no option came up to uninstall you could have a look at the suggestions listed HERE.  The basic Unistall option was available on my system - though I did note that it wasn't available for some of the other updates.

    Just a bit more in relation to items disappearing from the print queue.

    I tried to uninstall the 2 updates mentioned, but was unable to. I clicked on each update in turn to highlight it, yet no provision to either delete, or uninstall appeared.

    If either, or both of these updates are the cause of my printer problems, then I'd like some information as to how I can go about removing them.

    (1) Yep, it's fixed (addressed) in 1903/1909...

    Everyone should click for it at Windows Update. After installation (or maybe even before) the predecessor that is blocked in WUShowHide will I think automatically disappear from it.

    (2) But 2004 didn't get an update that I can see. The latest is still...

    But lucky for me, my own Brother MFC-L2740DW was immune in 1909 & remains immune in 2004. I upgraded last night & still can print.
