Feature update to Windows 10, version 2004 causing issues with credentials

Hello, I had a problem after installing the Feature update to Windows 10, version 2004 causing issues with credentials. Specifically my problem related to email accounts in Outlook not remembering the account password and a similar problem with Adobe Creative Cloud. No matter how many times I would enter the password, it would always ask again for the password when restarting Outlook and similar problem with Adobe Creative Cloud it would always ask me to sign in again after rebooting my computer (which loads it automatically). I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem and did you find a solution?

I was not able to find a solution to this problem that worked even after manually removing credentials from the Credential Manager and adding them again in the respective applications, so I uninstalled the feature update and reverted back to the previous version of Windows. In case someone else needs to revert back and uninstall Feature update to Windows 10, version 2004, I found a good article with instructions here: https://pureinfotech.com/uninstall-windows-10-2004-2020-update/. The caveat is that you must do this within 10 days of the install as the old version of Windows is automatically deleted after that time.

    Hi! I don't have a mac but being an Apple product I'm sure it isn't subject to Microsoft's mercurial updates. My Chromebook certainly isn't and is quite useful when my Windows laptop acts up. 

    I do find my Windows laptop to be useful for a number of other things, such as downloading and using a program called Libre Office, which is both free and can do pretty much everything that MS Office can. Also, I can store documents and photos locally as a local backup with plenty of room to spare, as well as using other programs that don't have a Chrome OS equivalent yet. And I can still browse the web when I need to.

    Oddly enough, though both my Windows machine and printer are both HP products, I actually had a much easier time setting up my Chromebook to print wirelessly through said printer, as well as a more sure response when printing than I do setting up and printing with my HP Windows laptop! In fact, I still cannot print wirelessly with the Windows laptop because the printer just won't recognize the Windows computer, no matter what I've tried! And yes, the document or site that I'm trying to print does show up in the queue, but the printer claims to be "Offline". So I use a cable to print from my Windows computer! But printing from my Chromebook? Responds and prints right away, no hassles! Very strange.

    Thanks for the advice on restoring the old (good times) version. Can't see that there's any other option given the mess created by the wonderful Window tech team. I also tried the credential option and guess what? - no joy either. I have tried other forum tips and work round suggestions including those relating to admin permissions and guess what again? no joy. 

    Have had other gratefully received work round suggestions, none have come good but to be honest the solution shouldn't be require 'work rounds' - it needs proper formalised fixing/patching and seriously test updates.

    Does anyone know how to get MS to actually listen to and take note of this problem because, seriously, it is far beyond a joke now and is massively effecting daily productivity (and mental health - due to the level of frustration). I just wish that all in the Windows team had to experience this type of problem several times each and every day when they try to log on to their machines. 

    Apologies but MS have almost successfully pushed me into the world of Mac products, without trying.

    Mike, I am also using Windows 10 Pro.  _ think you are right its a Pro issue.

    I am on 32 Bit as my old pc does not support 64 bit - So does this also apply to 64 Bit OS? Any one please feel free to reply.

    I'm using Windows 10 Home and so is my mother and we both have the problem, too, so I'm pretty sure it's not just a Windows Pro issue. Just saying.
