Unable to print after installing update KB4560960 and/or KB4561608. Uninstalling updates fixes problem. Reporting bug.

That's nice that a patch will be applied with the next update.  What am I supposed to do in the meantime when I need my printers to print??

You should see an automatic update today at 10 AM Pacific time. You can fix it now through a patch as well, which you can install manually.

I tried the updates and it did not help.  When I try to print from my mail app (the one in windows 10) I get an error message.  "your printer has experienced an unexpected configuration problem 0x8007007e"  I only get this error from the mail app.  I can print from note pad , word pad or any of my other programs.  I have tried all the suggestions and nothing seems to make any difference.

I also uninstalled KB4560960 update and paused updates.  My Brother printer is able to work again, BUT now during any use of the printer or its scanner, the computer freezes repeatedly.  In any 5 second interval, the computer might respond for a half second.  When the printer/scanner is not being used, the computer will often not respond randomly for perhaps one to three seconds every 15-20 seconds.  If the printer is turned off, there are still random short freeze-ups.  If I unplug the printer USB from the computer, the freeze-ups stop.

I faced the same problem when my printer was not printing up my 90s Anime poster. I uninstalled the update then restarted. The problem seemed to have been solved.
