A third-party tool to block all updates to Windows 10 is mentioned several times in this thread. Links to this tool have been removed because Microsoft policy is that one cannot post here any method of permanently stopping/blocking updates to Windows.
Everytime i enter windows update i cant see nothing in Windows Update tab, only "Something went wrong. Try to reopen settings later" .
3 days have went by of me trying to fix this, but nothing is working...
The troubleshoot shows nothing wrong...
Tried to reset the pc but i got an error (something went wrong)...
When i try to scan the disk it always gives me an error
Did sfc /scandisk in safe mode there was no problem

I tried everything they said: checked everything, fully scanned my computer with Windows Defender and Malwarebytes(with the latter finding something, but still didn't solve the updates problem), used the command prompt, etc. Nothing worked.
Then I found your reply and when I installed it, it told me that Windows Updates were blocked so I just pressed undo and now I'm able to update my PC again.
I guess Windows doesn't stand a chance against a third-party tool lol.
or just better to factory reset by reverting all system files to factory settings and keeping personal files
I've been having the same issue for weeks and it has been driving me crazy! Tried all the suggestions here, including creating a .bat file to run all the commands.
Found the easiest solution was simply to go to the microsoft web site, login to my account, and download the update assistant from there. Run the update assistant, and vloa! Update complete! Well actually, 81% complete as I type this.
Weeks of frustration resolved. Now, will it update in the future? We'll see!
