Windows 10S Brother printer DCP-195C will not work

My elderly DCP195C has been working fine with my Windows 10S until today, Thu 11 June 2020.  Windows did a large update yesterday or day before.  Now the printer will not work  }:-(   Tried looking at settings but nothing seems to solve the problem.  Anyone any suggestions please?

    Im having exactly the same problem - unable to print at all on my Brother DCP-195C since Wednesday when I installed the update. Have tried literally everything, I am not able to simply uninstall the update as when I try windows throws up a message saying it wasnt able to uninstall it. I'm stuck and I need to be able to use my printer for work - I would really appreciate a fix for this as soon as possible please!

    It took meo tries, but you could try starting in Safe Mode

    follow the advice and uninstall kb:4560960 and all will be well. Thanks microsoft for taking an hour out of my life that I will never get back !!!!

    I didn't even have  the KB you mentioned, it was KB4557957

    I didn't even have  the KB you mentioned, it was KB4557957

    I have Brother MFC-J410W having the same problem as listed on this thread. I just went through the uninstall of KB:4560960 and still no printer function. Strangely, I can still do scanning to file etc from the Control Center3 app, but no printing from ANYWHERE. I have to email a doc to my iPhone 8 and use the Brother printing app from the phone to print!

    Any further suggestions?
