My elderly DCP195C has been working fine with my Windows 10S until today, Thu 11 June 2020. Windows did a large update yesterday or day before. Now the printer will not work }:-( Tried looking at settings but nothing seems to solve the problem. Anyone any suggestions please?

Well, today, July 5th KB4557957 was 'forced on me' again and of course I took the risk.
Great work guys !!! I mean the "Q" department of Microsoft.
Back to square one as goes printing.
So, since we now have practice, I uninstalled KB4557957 again and ... printing works like a charm again.
Wow, can't wait for the next KB and see what Microsoft's "Q" department has in the pipeline for us; I'm sure we'll be surprised again and will be able to practice our Uninstallation Skills again.

Thanks Hans for the update, Your post helps us all to understand that Microsoft still haven't a clue how to correct their defective update. Why oh why do they keep forcing this useless update on us all.

Uninstalling just the KB:4560960 update also resolved the exact same problem I was having with a LAN attached Brother MFC-440cn.
Wish I had started searching online sooner, I would have saved myself hours of hair pulling.
Thank You for the solution !
I just deleted the update from UPDATE HISTORY (the one close to the 6th of June) and it worked afterwards
