This does not work for everyone, especially myself. I don't have HP anything on my computer so task scheduler doesn't show anything. They need to fix this and the fact that this very terrible bug has been around over 6 months now is disgusting.
Yes I knew not everyone would be able to use this, but it helped me and some others... sorry for not being able to provide a better solution for your case.. have you tried the powershell (admin) check? You might get a different answer even though you dont have any HP anything...
