SMB sharing not working after windows 10 update Build 2004 update

Win10 20H2 fixes the issue.

Previously when 2004 broke smb1, I rolled back.

There was no registry change or any other modification made to the system.  After Win10 20H2 upgrade was installed via Windows Updates;  SMB1 worked as it did before the upgrade.

    Another workaround is to try restarting the Workstation Service after user logon. This seems to reconnect the failing SMB1 mapped drive.  

    We've also moved away from net use script mapping and using a gpo preference.

    None of the mentioned workarounds did the trick.

    Firstly,

    I tried restarting Workstation service - it reconnects the drive, but computer starts acting out. Multiple programs stopped respoding after a while. 

    Secondly,

    I tried mapping obsolete network drive via GPO - drive got mapped, however it still not accessible.

    (All still up and running on all pre-2004 WIN 10 computers) ...

    The issue still has not been resolved!

    If you are using Guest account on your NAS, I think you need to change the following key and restart your PC/laptop to get it fixed.

    I've tried this method, but it didn't work for SMB1.

    This method only worked with SMB2.

    We are still waiting for a Microsoft FIX to definitively solve the problem with SMB1 that was caused after the 2004 update of windows 10.
