Win10 20H2 fixes the issue.

Previously when 2004 broke smb1, I rolled back.

There was no registry change or any other modification made to the system.  After Win10 20H2 upgrade was installed via Windows Updates;  SMB1 worked as it did before the upgrade.

Thank you Microsoft.

you can save the username and password of the domain the first time you log in, it does not affect the script!

leave her saved and everything will work ok.

restarting the workstation service worked for me.  I need my Win10 build 2004 computers to connect to an old XP machine that has an xray scanner attached.  The Win10 machine would no longer connect to the mapped drive, nor could I browse to that folder.   It worked fine just enabling SMB1 until this upgrade, then locked up the program to view the xrays.  But restarting workstation service then back to normal.  I don't know how stable it will be, so I rolled back to prior to the previous version for now.

Does the fact that restarting this service tell you experts what needs to be done then?

Connection to net disks by SMB1 does not work even after restart of Synology DiskStation NAS on Windows 10 v2004. On other computers without this update works everything perfectly.

you may not have permission to use this network resource. contact the administrator. Like this error is coming in another system when I have shared a folder/drivers through Network sharing option
