SMB sharing not working after windows 10 update Build 2004 update

Win10 20H2 fixes the issue.

Previously when 2004 broke smb1, I rolled back.

There was no registry change or any other modification made to the system.  After Win10 20H2 upgrade was installed via Windows Updates;  SMB1 worked as it did before the upgrade.

    i have  open Control Panel > Program & Features > Turn Windows features on or off > look for SMB 1.0/CIFS Sharing support and DISABLE (un-tick) it.

    • Reboot
    • Control Panel > Program & Features > Turn Windows features on or off > look for SMB 1.0/CIFS Sharing support and ENABLE (tick) it.
    • Reboot
    • It should now work but  next time laptop  restart  or shutdown then  mapping network drive not open and hang and more process .

    so please help us how to permanent network drive open in windows 10

    I am using the prerelease version of Windows 10 update 20H2 and this problem still remains. The SMB 1.0 client still disconnects after each reboot. 

    Come on Microsoft - this is been going on for 3 months!

    We're WAY past this as being the issue. That was verified a LONG time ago without any resolution.

    File sharing can only work when you enable sharing settings correctly. Besides, you also have to share data in the right way. For that, follow these steps:

    Step 1. Click "Start" > "Control Panel" > "Network and Sharing Center" > "Advanced sharing settings".

    *Under Private (current profile), check "Turn on network discovery" and "Turn on file and printer sharing". Click "Save changes" to confirm.

                     To make sure the problem can be solved, allow File and Printer Sharing in Windows firewall settings.
