Win10 20H2 fixes the issue.

Previously when 2004 broke smb1, I rolled back.

There was no registry change or any other modification made to the system.  After Win10 20H2 upgrade was installed via Windows Updates;  SMB1 worked as it did before the upgrade.

Thank you Microsoft.

I am now so over MICROSOFT, I'm 50, 30 years of my life in on a NAS drive I cannot connect to. Bought a New PC installed Win10 1909, after their updates still can't connect! Paid an extra $120AUD for software to convert these files from EXT4 to NTFS. After 8 hours, I'm about half way through the first 3TB disk! SERIOUSLY **** YOU MICROSOFT!

Sorry doesn't work for me. The only way that works for me is to recreate the mapped rive at each logging.

    Hi Jean

Have you turn on the "network discovery" and "file sharing and printer sharing" in Private ?

Path: Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network and Sharing Centre\Advanced sharing settings

Hi, sorry but I think this is not the original problem on this thread. The problem you mention is a well known issue : smb v1 inactive on windows 10. Activate smb v1 will not solve the original problem.
