Trouble in installation of DSS Catia DS License Server

Hello,

I need support in order to resolve issue related to installation of CATIA software. 

One need to install DS License server administration Tool in order proceed further with actual installation of application.

First i tried installing Catia V5-6R2017.....when i installed DSS License server Administration.... a License Administration Tool is supposed to pop up automatically after installation.....but same didn't happen. I tried installing it multiple time, still nothing.

When i ran Catia V6R2012, License Administration Tool appeared automatically after installation of DS License Server Administration.

How can i run V2017 of Catia ??...pls help

(Pls respond if more information required regarding issue)

  2. 64bit
  3. 8 GB RAM
  4. 4 GB NVIDIA GTX 1050 graphics)

please foloowing this step:

با سلام. لططفا مراحل زیر رو دنبال کنید. من انجام دادم و جواب گرفتم. سوالی هم بود میتونید همینجا بپرسید

۱. Install dslic. The admin gui tool will not work

۲. Run CMD as admin, change directory to where DSLicSrv.exe is

۳. dslicsrv /test -admin

this will change the cmd prompt as commands from now on are related to dslicsrv

۴. c localhost 4084

this will give you your computerid. it is also present in log files in %programdata%\DassaultSystemes\LicenseServer\LogFiles

you will have to run the license generator in win10 1909 or earlier. not on 2004.

generate license, and copy the file to the win10-2004 computer, to the same directory as dslicsrv

۵. e -dir .\ -file filename.licz

where filename is the license file name obviously

this command enrolls the licenses into the server

۶. sc -lp 4085

then type yes

I had to give this command before the next

it probably defines the lic port.

۷. sc -els yes

then type yes

۸. gsi

this give you info on how the server is working.

admin >gsi

Software version: 6.419.9

Build date: Jun 20, 2017 3:55:24 PM

Standalone mode

Ready: yes

Server name: name Server id: KUK-4214560057E15406

    1 - Réinstaller DS License Server

    2 - Démarrez CMD en mode adminisrateur

    3 - cd C:\Program Files (x86)\Dassault Systemes\DS License Server\intel_a\code\bin

    4 - dslicsrv /test -admin

    5 - c localhost 4084

    l*********** ID du serveur : D**-4***************

    6 - Créez nouvelle licence avec DSLS.LicGen.v1.6.SSQ.exe, avec Nom du PC et ID

    7 - Copier *******.licz dans : C:\Program Files (x86)\Dassault Systemes\DS License Server\intel_a\code\bin

    8 - e -dir .\ -file *******.licz

    9 - sc -lp 4085 (oui)

    10 - gsi

    11 - exit

    Start Catia V5 ENJOY

    Any idea how to fix the fact that it is IMPOSSIBLE to CONNECT on PORT 4084?

    This is really working for me.

    You can use Windows 7 virtual machine to generate licz lic.

    All the steps are working correctly.

    I am on windows 10 Pro 21H1 version on 26th Sept 2021.
